1942 cars of any make are rare as production of passenger cars stopped immediately after Pearl Harbor and did not resume production until 1946. Our Cadillac was driven sparingly and went into collector hands early on. As a result it has only 25xxx miles from new. While the car has had some paint work and bumpers re chromed, the interior is breathtakingly original. Most Cadillac collectors know that the original floor mats did not last. This car not only has its excellent original floor mats but the rest of the interior is in outstanding original condition. An added plus and unusual for a 42 Cadillac is the manual transmission. We have driven this Cadillac in several CCCA caravans and it performs magnificently.
